lots of busy times- how do you stay grounded?

So, I haven't blogged in a while, because I've been so busy with holidays, crafting(for others), taking care of my son(i.e., keeping him busy), spending time with family and friends, that I have barely had any time for me. I've realized that I've become too over stressed, and that I need to slow down.

So what do you do? What WORKS for you?

I wish a bath worked for me, or even an actual massage, but it doesn't. not unless it is more than 2 hours long.

I craft. but I haven't done anything in almost 2 weeks, because our "roommate"(read, MIL) moved out, and I've been trying to clean/reorganize my house to accommodate the extra room. Cleaning the space that was used, then moving all "baby" stuff in there, while we plan/try for baby #2. While being productive makes me feel good, I'm getting extra stress from my "terrible" 2 year old.

JOY.

So.... how do you relax? what do you do to "de-stress"?

  1. To de-stress I make bows :) After the kids are in bed of course. Its nice relaxing and Laurynn loves to see all her new bows when she gets up in the morning.
